Redwood National Park

This National Park is situated along the coast of northern California, it is famous because it has the tallest trees in the world, the Sequoia Sempervirens.

The park has served as a filming location for numerous films. Scenes set on the forest moon Endor in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi were filmed in the Tall Trees Redwood Grove in the northern part of Humboldt County, though the majority of filming was in private and public forests near the town of Smith River, California. Scenes for The Lost World: Jurassic Park as well as the movie Outbreak were filmed at the nearby Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park and at Patrick's Point State Park.
The park was also used to represent Jurassic forests of Colorado in Walking with Dinosaurs in "Time of the Titans" and in the 2007 IMAX film Dinosaurs Alive!, where they were used to represent Triassic forests of New Mexico, which was based on Petrified wood in Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona.
The park was also shown in the 2011 film Rise of the Planet of the Apes and its 2014 sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes as well.

Hello

                                                          Hello, it's me
I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet

To go over everything
They say that time's supposed to heal ya, but I ain't done much healing

Hello, can you hear me?
I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be
When we were younger and free
I've forgotten how it felt before the world fell at our feet

There's such a difference between us
And a million miles

Hello from the other side
I must've called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter, it clearly doesn't tear you apart
Anymore

Hello, how are you?
It's so typical of me to talk about myself, I'm sorry
I hope that you're well
Did you ever make it out of that town where nothing ever happened?

It's no secret that the both of us
Are running out of time

So hello from the other side
I must've called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter, it clearly doesn't tear you apart
Anymore, ooooohh
Anymore, ooooohh
Anymore, ooooohh
Anymore, anymore

Hello from the other side
I must've called a thousand times
To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done
But when I call you never seem to be home

Hello from the outside
At least I can say that I've tried
To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart
But it don't matter, it clearly doesn't tear you apart
Anymore

Some music

I am listening some music right now and if some of you are around here right now I would like you to hear this song, I use to hear it all the time. Bye

Punk vs. Classic

I am supposed to write what each music makes me feel, well they are very different one from another.
While punk music makes me want to jump dance and sing out loud, classic music it is so relaxing, I feel more quiet when I hear it.
I like both kind of music but I think I listen to each one when I am on the mood, because when I am with energy and I am doing my housework I need to listen something more like punk and when I need to relax and calm down I prefer something like classic music, It's my point of view.

Global Issue: Natural Disasters

Problem:
Earthquakes, tsunamis and floods can often come at the least expected time. Others such as hurricanes and cyclones are increasing in severity and destruction.
Poor countries are the worst hit and they have the least resources to rebiult and recover and they also are who lost  more lives.
Solution:
You can´t fight nature, that's obvious, all we can do is defend ourselves building stronger-made houses and financing the most damaged places but the goverment always ignore catastrophes...
In the meantime, what I would do is to improve the systems that cam predict disasters in order to make people aware of what is coming so they can leave before anything can happen.

Doctor Who

One of the most famous TV series of the UK is Doctor Who, and one of my favorites too. Doctor Who is a science-fiction programme produced by BBC that started in 1963 and continues in the present. This programme tells the stories of a Time Lord, an alien from the planet Gallifrey, with two hearts with human appearance that travel along time and space in his TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space), a blue british police box. The show can be divided in two parts, the first one from 1963 to 1989, and the second one when was relaunched in 2005 by Russell T Davies to the present day that still on the air.
The programme has been starred by twelve actors due to the script because the ‘’Doctor’’ needs to regenerate, this has helped the programme to continue on air for more than thirty six years.
Nowadays Peter Capaldi plays the leading role in the actual show, but before him was Matt Smith, David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston.
The Doctor likes to share his adventures with his companions, who usually are humans and with their help the Doctor has saved the planet earth uncountable times.
During his travels he has gained a lot of enemies such as the Cybermen, the Master ( another Time Lord) and the Daleks.

This programme has become a British popular culture and in other countries not as much as in England but also have a lot of fans like me.

Describing people and peer response

Maybe my best friend is the most positive person in the world. It can be raining outside and she has no money but she can convince me to make the funniest plan ever. She's positive, always smiling, happy and has a lot of energy. She's tall as me but thinner and has a more rounded face, she has long hazel straight hair and beautiful brown eyes. I think everybody that knows her thinks the same as me, she is generous and would do anything for her friends. But when she's angry you better hide because she's terrible. Despite this i love her because she is like that, i'm so fortunate to have her.

Dear Paula:
I like the description about your best friend because it is obvious how much you love her. It's interesting that you wrote that she is terrible when she's angry because you are not saying just good things about her and you are showing another viewpoint.
I know that we didn't have so much time to write the paragraph, but if i were you, the next time i would include some information about her appearance and maybe some phrases to say how do you think that people see her from the outside and how did you think she was when you met her.
It is good to know that nowadays there are people who knows how important is to have a strong friendship.
